1/20/2024 0 Comments Woodland township clerk![]() The Plainsboro Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of Township roadways, storm drains, parks and recreational facilities, and all other township properties. The police department investigates all crimes and quality of life complaints in addition to enforcing traffic violations and handling motor vehicle accidents within Plainsboro Township. The Department of Planning and Zoning is responsible for guiding the long-range development and conservation of open space of the Township of Plainsboro. ![]() All traffic violations, driving while intoxicated, disorderly person crimes are handled in Municipal Court. Municipal courts have limited jurisdiction. The Human Resources Office supports the Township in its mission to serve the needs of the community by recruiting, developing and retaining an outstanding workforce who are committed to quality public service. The Finance Department is responsible for the receipt, safeguarding, investment, and disbursement of municipal funds, which includes purchasing, tax collection, accounts payable, pension and payroll. The Code Enforcement Department includes all inspection and enforcement activity in the areas of building, fire prevention, housing, and health. The Township Administrator is responsible for the overall management and supervision of all township operations.
